Bright lights, people everywhere, fantastic booths – a tradeshow is a visual experience, and what better way to leverage your tradeshow marketing than by using the most visual of all social media channels: Instagram. The first tip is to tell a story. Don’t just take a photo of your booth; take staff and behind-the-scenes photos that say something about your company’s real identity. Second, use relevant hashtags to target your Instagram audience. Write the hashtags as a note so you can copy and paste them quickly. Third, use Instagram’s Explore option to network and also to discover what your customers are talking about.

Uploading a 15-second video clip to Instagram keeps things interesting – just be sure it’s relevant and entertaining.
