Acceptable Tweets During a Trade Show

Social media is a great marketing tool for improving the overall trade show experience. Deciding what information you want to share with your Twitter followers is an important decision to make for any business. These days, more trade show attendees are using social media to read the latest headlines and learn about new products and services. To maximize engagement, your company should be posting to social media before, during and after a trade show. The social media content should be considered “valuable” by your followers. Over-tweeting irrelevant information could cause your audience to lose interest with your brand. As an exhibitor, it is important to directly ask attendees what they like and dislike about your products, services, the trade shows, and your exhibit.

Trace Cohen of Trade Show News Network, provides a list of acceptable things to Tweet about when you exhibit at a trade show in his article, “14 Things You Can Tweet About When Attending or Exhibiting at a Trade Show.
