CES Asia Scheduled for May 2015

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® will produce the premier 2015 International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) Asia in Shanghai, China. Scheduled for May 25-27, the event will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). Shanghai, which has a population of 24 million, has two international airports and is the center of Chinese commerce.

CEA announced that businesses from around the world are slated to present the latest products and technologies being introduced into the Asian marketplace. Intex Shanghai Co., Ltd., a producer of international tradeshows in China, is organizing the event with CEA.

Consumer electronics (CE) retail sales in China are predicted to reach $154.4 billion in 2014. For companies operating in China, CES Asia provides a chance to rapidly expand market share. Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CEA, says attendees will have “exclusive access to some of the top brands from China and around the world.”

Companies from the U.S., China, Japan, South Korea and emerging countries in Southeast Asia will have access to displays in 8,500 net square meters of exhibit space. There will also be a meeting of CEA’s high-level Board of Industry leaders to bring major tech leaders together for the launch of the event.

Exhibit sales were scheduled to start in August of this year and registration will start at the end of 2014. Visit www.CESAsia.com for information and a video presentation.
