Successful Booths Create a Memorable Attendee Experience

Some tradeshow exhibitors go for an informational, strictly business approach at their booth. Others entice potential customers by handing out promotional items. Rachel Wimberly of TSNN explains how the busiest booths are ones that create a fun, engaging experience.

At the recent Annual Meeting for the American Society of Association, the Visit Milwaukee booth served up over-the-top Bloody Mary drinks to tradeshow attendees. Megan Gaus, senior director of marketing and communications for Visit Milwaukee, explains that they originally worked with an ad agency for months to develop a creative concept for the show. They eventually scrapped the whole idea and went with something completely different. But the gamble paid off – they poured 700 Bloody Marys, resulting in 700 leads.

Other notable additions from the event included a green screen photo backdrop, a Build-a-Bear station, and a claw machine. These examples prove that taking the time to come up with a unique concept for your exhibit is a great way to keep your booth buzzing with energy from beginning to end.
