Tradeshow Design Tips

Dynamic displays at your booth are essential to the success of your show. A great display will serve as your company’s billboard to advertise your brand, products, or services to trade show attendees. It takes less than three seconds to attract someone’s attention, and one wrong design move can result in less traffic and lead generation. Kristin Hovde, website manager for Smash Hit Displays, has put together a few design tips to ensure trade show success:

  1. Have an open layout. Big or small, an open layout makes the space appear larger and more inviting. Keep the center clear, place tables on the outer edges, and put products on shelves to keep your booth free of clutter.
  2. Emphasize your brand. Attendees who walk up to your booth should never have to ask who you are. Make sure your brand name can easily be seen as you walk up to the exhibit and throughout the booth itself.
  3. Use professional graphics. Amateur-looking graphics can make your booth seem less credible and give the wrong impression. Look into tradeshow display vendors to create graphics for you if you do not already have a design department within your company.
  4. Connect with your audience. Include your social media handles, phone numbers, locations, and QR codes on all your promotional materials.
