The Los Angeles Convention Center first opened in 1971. 2014 has been the busiest year for the Convention Center with 28 conventions scheduled this year. The Downtown Los Angeles venue has undergone several expansions to meet the demands of the trade show industry including a renovation that is scheduled to begin this August.
